The Dress!!!

It's Saturday around lunchtime and I am looking back at my day already smiling! I had to get up early on a Saturday, UGH! but it has so been worth it. I had my wedding dress fitting today with Eva, my alteration specialist! I invited my best friend Clare to come along with me today for support and an extra set of eyes. I was pleasantly surprised when I met her there and she had brought Irma along! I was super excited to have 2 of my dearest friends with me. So we walk in and Eva is all ready for me. She takes me to a room and my dress is hanging up and I instantly start crying and smiling. I mean everytime I see the dress I get more and more excited. This time was the best because the dress fits me now! YEAH!!!! There are still a few things left but they are minor hems and what not. My girlfriends laughed at me as I danced around in my wedding dress grinning from ear to ear. I finished up with Eva and went out to brunch with my girls.
As I am in my car following them to Cracker Barrel I can't help but smile. My life right now is as close to perfect as it comes. I am driving and thinking how truly lucky I am to have such wonderful people in my life. I remember moving to Jacksonville and feeling so alone for the first few months and wondering why the hell I moved here. I now think that moving here was the smartest thing I ever did. God had a plan for me and in time I was able to see it. I have since become friends with some of the most amazing people I have ever met. I count my blessings everyday for every wonderful person in my life. The people around me are as happy and excited about the upcoming wedding as Preston and I are. That right there makes me the happiest and luckiest girl in the world!!!
